Society for Regenerative Medicine & Tissue Engineering (SRMTE) is organizing STEM 2012 in Hyderabad from January 31 to February 1,2012. The two-day event will be held at the Marriott Hotel & Convention Centre.

The annual conference on biotechnology in its eight edition will focus on the 'Latest trends in stem cells, regenerative medicine and tissue engineering'.

Beginning from this year, SRMTE has instituted an annual ‘Dr Habibullah Memorial Oration’ which will be rendered by Dr H N Madhavan, Sankara Nethralaya at the inaugural ceremony, stated Sankar Iyer, Organizational Secretary, Society for Regenerative Medicine and Tissue Engineering.

STEM 2012 Conference will be focusing on latest trends in stem cell research and application, regenerative medicine and tissue engineering. The event would be beneficial for pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies, hospitals and research institutes. The organizers had also invited lab instrumentation and related support systems from US, UK and other Asian countries, he added.
